Locum Staff Nurse in Cardiology at American Hospital in 19th Street, Dubai, UAE will provides direct patient care and coordinates patient care-related activities using the scientific process of nursing. Nursing care is given to adult and geriatric populations. Performs cardiovascular diagnostic procedures including but not limited to conducting Electrocardiograms (ECG) and performing Pulse Wave Volume Recording, Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) and Toe-Brachial Index (TBI) assessments. Assists during Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram procedures, Tilt Table tests, Bubble tests, and Treadmill Stress Tests. Aids in Adenosine Stress Tests, provides support during Nuclear Stress Tests, and assists in Echocardiograms with Contrast. This is an Intermediate level Contract job (3 months). And salary can range between 6000-12000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Locum Staff Nurse

• Conducts an Electrocardiogram (ECG).
• Performs Pulse Wave Volume Recording, including Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) and Toe-Brachial Index (TBI).
• Provides assistance during Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram procedures.
• Assists in Tilt Table tests.

Requirements for Role of Locum Staff Nurse

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum of three (3) years full-time course duration)
• Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable)
• Must hold a minimum of a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or others according to the scope of practice.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in a Cardiology nursing or Heart Center.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is essential.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of and ability to render care and services based on age, appropriateness, and developmental needs of patients.
