Licensed Aircraft Engineer I Emirates Airlines Dubai 

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer I in Line Maintenance Support Emirates Airlines in Garhoud Area opposite to Airport Terminal 3, Dubai, UAE, candidate will carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft as per company and associated regulatory procedures. This is an Intermediate level and full time role with salary ranges from 15000 AED to 30000 AED per month.

Responsibilities of Licensed Aircraft Engineer I

• Specific Line Maintenance Support: Ensure prompt attendance to all allocated aircraft arrival/departures with the intent to maximize the Opportunities during ground time and avoid operational delays/disruptions.
• Will mainly be working on the ramp for service checks and other routine checks like 25 days check etc. You will also be working in hangar for major tasks including fuel tank intervention, L/G’s ret/ext etc.
• Generic: Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
• Ensure that you maintain assigned zones/aircraft in accordance with the latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications such as Aircraft documentation, Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and Engineering Procedures Manual, etc.
• Ensure that personal approvals/licenses are valid and applicable to aircraft types.
• Ensure that all off-aircraft tasks, such as handling spares, managing robberies, and holding items, comply with company procedures, and ensure completeness of associated paperwork for full transparency.
• Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task and use specialized tooling where required.
• Carry out troubleshooting procedures and use tools for fault rectification in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
• Carry out component changes as necessary as part of trouble shooting process and/or as directed by immediate supervisor. These should be done in accordance with AMM, IPC or other manufacturer/vendor documentation to complete the task.
• Ensure that you perform all activities in accordance with safety rules and regulations, as well as company procedures, highlighting any deficiencies or requirements (whether for aircraft or hangar use) through the effective use of reporting tools to support the overall quality improvement process. Actively participate in propagating and enhancing the Group safety culture.

What you will do more

• Ensure all work locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions are maintained.
• Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure a seamless flow of information and to highlight any potential operational issues.
• Ensure that relevant reports are related to service delays, incidents and accidents are completed in detail including the identification of issues that led to the event so that rectification can be sought through short term maintenance planning.
• Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system.
• Ensure SMART goal setting, interim/annual reviews & development plans are in place for assigned staff members in accordance with company procedures.
• Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.
• Ensure that you obtain approvals within 3.5 months of completing the course.
• Be available for deployment anywhere within the EK operation, including diversionary airfields to assist in recovery process of an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and/or aircraft component manufacturer facilities to act as an EK rep to oversee final assembly Emirates aircraft, supervise outsource maintenance work and assist in the acceptance/delivery process.

Requirements for Role of Licensed Aircraft Engineer I

• Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent) in Aeronautical subjects /Mechanical/Avionics/Electronic/Tech Engineering or Maintenance Engineering License.
• 5+ years experience in Engineering as a certifying staff.
• 10+ Years experience in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 aircraft type approvals.
• Candidate with Base Maintenance experience is a plus.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards.
