Purpose of A Legal Translator
To translate documents from English to Arabic and vice versa and to support the legal and governance Team on day to day matters.
Job Duties of A Legal Translator
- Responsible for translating legal documents, contracts and such other documents that may require translation from Arabic to English and vice versa, while ensuring that original meaning is retained.
- To support various teams across the company.
- Required to review, proofread documents and research legal & technical phraseology to ensure the correct translation.
- Hands on experience in providing both written and oral translation and interpretation services between parties.
- Managing and administering interpretation requirements while ensuring all works are error free.
- Develops clear & effective written proposals /quotations for current and prospective customers.
- Have knowledge & understanding of economic and business terms and vocabulary.
Eligibility Criteria?
Qualification
- Minimum a bachelors degree.
Experience
- 3 years of similar experience.
Certification
- Preferably holding a certified translator stamp.
Skills Desired
- Efficiency in working with MS Office including MS word, excel, powerpoint.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
