Legal Counsel at Rixos Pioneers Accor Hotel Dubai will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support and advice to their company on a wide range of matters related to hospitality and residential development projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in real estate law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance within the hospitality and residential sectors.

Responsibilities of Legal Counsel

  • Provide legal advice and support to the company’s management and project teams on hospitality and residential development projects from inception to completion.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including but not limited to purchase agreements, lease agreements, development agreements, construction contracts, and joint venture agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and assessments for potential development projects, including title investigations, zoning regulations, land use restrictions, and environmental compliance.
  • Manage legal risk and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing hospitality and residential development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, government authorities, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist in resolving disputes, claims, and litigation related to hospitality and residential development projects, including mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
  • Stay abreast of legal developments, trends, and best practices in real estate law, hospitality law, and residential development.
  • Support the legal team in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and training programs to promote legal compliance and mitigate risks across the organization.

Requirements of Legal Counsel

  • Bachelor Degree in Law and hospitality from a recognized University.
  • 4-5 years of UAE experience with a focus on real estate law, hospitality law, and residential development.
  • Experience working in house for a hospitality or real estate development company.
  • Previous experience in handling international real estate transactions and cross border projects.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex real estate transactions and agreements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and litigation management.
