Al Masaood is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Legal Assistant in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible to provide administrative support to the legal team by assisting with legal research, drafting legal documents and maintaining case files. Responsibilities of Legal Assistant

  • Assist attorneys in managing and organizing legal documents, including drafting, reviewing and editing contracts, pleadings and other legal correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics, including case law, statutes and regulations.
  • Maintain and update legal management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information and documents.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline the legal department’s operations.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, NDA’s, POAs and other legal correspondence.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to ensure compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of meetings, hearings and depositions.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists.
  • Provide administrative support, such as managing calendars, answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization’s operations and provide recommendations as needed.

Requirements for Role of Legal Assistant

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related studies.
  • 2-3 years of significant and substantive legal assistant experience as a paralegal in a law firm/company.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proficient with technology and implementation.
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Efficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual – Arabic/English
