The Department of Chemistry within the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences invites applications for a Lecturer position in Chemistry. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver an exceptional teaching experience to their undergraduate students within the Chemistry Department, in the subject areas allocated to them, and perform instruction related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of Khalifa University.

Responsibilities of Lecturer

• The responsibilities of Lecturer shall be an appropriate combination of “dissemination of knowledge through undergraduate teaching” and University and community services.
• Successful candidates are expected to teach the undergraduate courses as required, bringing not just expertise but also enthusiasm and innovation to the classroom.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Lecturer are as under:

• Candidate should possess a Master’s degree in Chemistry, or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institution.
• The position demands candidates with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. With a strong preference for those who have gained education from and/or served in distinguished higher education institutions.
• Preference will also given to applicants who have demonstrated a passion for teaching & have experience in inspiring and engaging students.
