Duties of A Leasing Executive

Tenant Management: Managing and nurturing relationships with existing tenants, meeting their needs & addressing any concerns they may have.

Lease Negotiation: Negotiating lease agreements with prospective tenants, including rental rates, terms, and any special provisions.

Market Research: Conducting market research to understand the competitive landscape, tenant preferences, and market trends to optimize tenant mix.

Prospect Sourcing: Identifying and reaching out to potential tenants to fill vacancies within the retail space.

Financial Analysis: Evaluating the financial viability of lease proposals, including rental income projections and return on investment analysis.

Lease Documentation: Preparing and managing lease documentation, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

Tenant Coordination: Coordinating tenant build-outs, store designs, and any required modifications to the retail space.

Budget Management: Creating and managing budgets for leasing operations, including income and expense projections.

Reporting: Providing regular reports to senior management on leasing activities, occupancy rates, and financial performance.

Team Management: Supervising a team of leasing professionals, if applicable, to ensure smooth and efficient leasing operations.

Legal Compliance: Ensuring all leasing activities adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Tenant Relations: Resolving tenant disputes and maintaining positive relationships with tenants to enhance tenant retention.

Marketing and Promotion: Collaborating with marketing teams to create promotional strategies that attract customers to the retail space.

Market Expansion: Identifying opportunities for market expansion and growth, including the evaluation of new retail locations.
Eligibility Requirements
Requirements for role of Leasing Executive are as under:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, marketing, or a related field.
- 7-10 years experience within a Retail Leasing environment.
