Job Description

Learning & Development Specialist at Chalhoub Group will play a vital role in shaping leaders and fostering a culture of well-being. Candidate will be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of leadership and well-being initiatives that align with business goals, organizational strategy, and employee development needs. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Learning & Development Specialist

  • Program Development and Delivery:
  • Design and deliver impactful leadership development programs focusing on Leading Self, Leading Teams, and Leading Business themes.
  • Develop well-being initiatives integrating resilience, mindfulness, and psychological safety aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure the program content aligns with the organization’s leadership model, especially Servant Leadership, incorporating elements from the Wellbeing Academy such as emotional intelligence, mental health, and self-motivation.
  • Identify, source, and integrate external tools, resources, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to enrich program offerings.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the Director of the Leadership Academy and Wellbeing Academy, the VP of People, People Partners, and Talent Management to identify leadership and well-being needs across the organization.
  • Engage with external facilitators, coaches, and learning providers to curate and deliver high-quality, innovative solutions.
  • Partner with the Digital Academy to integrate immersive learning, VR, and AI into leadership and well-being programs.
  • Consultancy and Needs Analysis:
  • Conduct Learning Needs Analyses (LNAs) for leadership and well-being, leveraging data from performance management, employee feedback, and organizational surveys.
  • Benchmark against industry best practices, providing actionable insights to ensure the academies remain at the forefront of leadership and well-being development.
  • Develop policies, SOPs, and documentation to support governance and strategic alignment of academy offerings.
  • Project Management:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor leadership and well-being projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and timely delivery.
  • Develop and manage metrics to track program adoption, engagement, and impact, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Drive the implementation of initiatives such as leadership offsites, coaching programs, and well-being workshops, ensuring seamless execution.

Instructional Design

  • Create engaging, research-backed instructional materials for leadership and well-being topics, including workshops, e-learning modules, and self-paced resources.
  • Innovate with design methodologies to enhance user experience and engagement and cater to diverse cultural and organizational needs.
  • Continuously update and refine content to reflect the latest trends and organizational priorities.
  • Facilitation and Training Delivery:
  • Facilitate workshops on Servant Leadership, Holistic Leadership, and other topics, such as building trust and resilience.
  • Deliver well-being sessions covering mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and mental health awareness.
  • Co-facilitate sessions with SMEs and leaders, ensuring contextual relevance and practical application.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Recognition:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with program participants, sponsors, and internal stakeholders to drive the adoption and advocacy of academy initiatives.
  • Implement recognition programs to celebrate leadership and well-being milestones and achievements.
  • Advocate for leadership and well-being as integral pillars of organizational culture.

Requirements for Role of Learning & Development Specialist

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience in Learning and Development and executive coaching, coupled. With a strong understanding of leadership frameworks, well-being methodologies, and cultural dynamics in complex organizations.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Have a demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering leadership and well-being programs.
  • Possess strong facilitation and instructional design skills, strong executive coaching skills, as well as excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proficient in learning technologies, with a strong understanding of immersive tools such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Passionate, eager to learn, and possess a growth mindset.
