Masafi is presently inviting applications from experienced and passionate candidates for the role of a Learning & Development Manager in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible to develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Responsibilities of A Learning & Development Manager

  • Identify training needs through conducting skill gap analyses, performance evaluations, and consultation with department heads.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs using a variety of methods such as classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and assessment tools, and make improvements as necessary.
  • Manage the learning management system (LMS) to track employee training progress, maintain records, and generate reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.
  • Coordinate with external training providers and vendors to supplement in-house training offerings as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee development initiatives, including coaching and mentoring programs.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture to integrate learning and development initiatives with talent management processes, such as performance management and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards regarding employee training and development.

Requirements For Learning & Development Manager

The eligibility requirements for role of a Learning & Development Manager are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Organizational Development or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 8 years in learning and development, with a track record of designing and implementing effective training programs.

Desired Skills

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
