Jumeirah Restaurants is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Learning & Development Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible to assist in developing and implementing training programs, managing learning initiatives, and supporting the professional development of employees.

Responsibilities of Learning & Development Assistant Manager

  • Collaborate with the Head of Department to ensure alignment with Jumeirah training processes and standards across the business unit, emphasizing consistent practices and adopting identified best practices.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating training and development activities, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Contribute to the completion of the annual learning and development needs analysis, development of the annual training plan, and the annual evaluation of training initiatives.
  • Support the achievement of regional and business unit training targets and objectives at Jumeirah Restaurants.
  • Conduct effective training sessions on various subjects, emphasizing empowerment, leadership development programs, career, and self-development.
  • Conduct departmental training reviews, assess the effectiveness of departmental training and trainers, and offer assistance as needed.
  • Regularly meet, coach, support, and motivate departmental trainers of different Jumeirah Restaurants to ensure compliance with on-the-job training requirements.
  • Design and develop training sessions based on operational needs within various business units.
  • Maintain the Emiratization business objectives, ensuring coaching, support, and access to training opportunities for Nationals.
  • Manage the performance of the Learning & Development Executive.

Requirements of Learning & Development Assistant Manager

  • Formal certification in a field related to human resources, learning, training, and development or a degree in hospitality is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in an established hospitality brand.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic or French) would be an added advantage.
