EDGE Group is actively hiring highly qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of a Lead Test Engineer. The selected candidate will be assigned will be required to plan, specify, execute and report testing of RF components and of SDR based wireless networks components during the development and validation phases of the product.

Responsibilities of Lead Test Engineer

• Understand the system level requirements and translate them into measurable test cases.
• Work closely with system architects, waveform designers, software and hardware team to specify suitable test cases and verification procedures.
• Define verification matrix and specifications of RF performance.
• Identify, describe, and build hardware/software resources necessary for tests.
• Perform end-to-end tests on lab or field setups and generate status and test reports.
• Characterize performance of RF and SDR system components.
• Evaluate system performance, evaluate compliance compatibility and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Participate in design reviews and optimizations.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for in role of Lead Test Engineer are as under:

• B.Eng or MS Degree in Electronic or System Engineering.
• More than 3 years extensive experience and knowledge in test and measurements with focus on RF radio systems.

Skills Desired

• Solid RF fundamental knowledge, experience in using lab equipment like spectrum analysers, network analysers, channel simulators etc.
• System integration and hands-on experience integrating software and hardware in a lab, troubleshooting related issues.
• Experience in Python or Matlab or C/C++ or equivalent programming language.
• Knowledge of signal processing in Matlab is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
• Ability to multi-tasking and managing a variety of complex tasks.
