Overview of Job of A Laboratory Technologist (Andrologist/ Semenologist)

The MLT will assist Head of the Andrology section and Director IVF Laboratory in managing Andrology lab on a daily basis.

Your Duties As A Laboratory Technologist (Andrologist/ Semenologist)

• Responsible for proper and correct semen and testicular biopsy sample identification during the performance of assisted reproduction technique.
• Performs specialized professional laboratory duties in clinical setting including semen analysis, semen freezing, preparation of sperm for IUI and insemination.
• Ensures clear and concise documentation of assisted reproduction technique results.
• Communicates result /changes to Head of the Andrology section, IVF Lab Director and physicians.
• Performing procedure/functions according to established policies, procedures and job specifications on a daily basis.
• Ensures adherence to accreditation requirements and guidelines for all technical activities.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Technology.

License

• HAAD/ DoH license as Medical Laboratory Technologist.

Experience

• 2 years experience, after obtaining the DOH /DHA/MOH license as Medical Laboratory Technologist, at any reputed Pathology Laboratory.
