Key Account Manager at GMG in Umm Hurair Rd, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE is responsible for handling the client accounts within sectors, that make up the highest percentage of company income, job holder must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. They will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, manage returns, receivables and enhance secondary sales and sell out and work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. Candidate will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients. The Salary offered by the Company is 12000-25000 AED. This is a Mid Senior level full time job.

Responsibilities of Key Account Manager

  • Preparing and implementing sales strategies to achieve the targets set for the vertical – for self and team.
  • Ensure the expansion of the brands presence within the sectors of pharmacy and specialty.
  • Manage receivables and stock coverage within each client door.
  • Enhance secondary sales and align with the operations team and client to increase sell through.
  • Manage promotion strategies to ensure stock rotation, minimizing expiry exposure and return management.
  • Manage inventory levels.
  • Act as a key- cross channel liaison to ensure alignment on product and selling strategies.
  • Work with the team to enhance and expand the brand exposure in the market within the channels of pharmacy and specialty sectors.
  • Own strategic sales planning, with a focus on the UAE across the annual planning process & deliver on the brand budgets.
  • Manage key investments in channels of pharmacy and specialty.
  • Own new business development opportunities, B2B.
  • Follow a defined consistent product introduction/enhancement process leading the local sales team (sales, pre-sales, post sales, legal, finance, marketing).
  • Preparing sales budgets and projections.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics & stock coverage.
  • Resolving issues of the clients in regards to the accounts and explore ways to improve monthly billing for the same.
  • Supervise team members while handling clients’ accounts and reviewing strategies to ensure mitigation of risks.
  • Ensure the internal team meets client requirements regarding stock and service by acting as a point of contact between clients and the team.
  • Understanding the requirements and specifications of the clients – old and new; personalizing contract to meet their demands and on-boarding of products across all clients.
  • Preparing and presenting the reports on the account progress on a monthly basis, to ensure challenges(if any) are resolved and decisions are taken on non-performing accounts.

Requirements for Role of Key Account Manager

  • Bachelor in any Discipline.
  • 2+ years experience handling/managing key accounts in the Modern trade FMCG industry in UAE.
  • Experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Emphasis on superior Excel skills.
