Junior Cost Controller F&B Mohamed Hilal Group Sharjah

Mohamed Hilal Group is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior Cost Controller F&B to join the team in 8FCQ+P8X, University City, Sharjah, UAE. Candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling costs related to F&B operations, ensuring that financial goals are met while maintaining the highest quality standards. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Junior Cost Controller F&B

  • Develop and manage food cost allocation strategies and targets to optimize profitability.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and contribute to strategic planning aimed at reducing and maintaining food costs at optimal levels.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT department to facilitate seamless integration between ERP system and other information technology tools.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of SKU and BOM within ERP system.
  • Lead the process of data input and management within the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly summarized reports on food cost performance for review and decision-making.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination between Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams, ensuring alignment on product offerings and cost control measures.
  • Take ownership of weekly and monthly inventory counts, as well as spot checks, to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure data accuracy within the ERP and POS systems to support real-time decision-making.
  • Establish and manage par-levels for inventory items to maintain optimal stock levels while preventing overstock or shortages.

Requirements for Role of Junior Cost Controller F&B

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years experience as an F&B Cost Controller or similar role.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong knowledge of F&B cost control procedures and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in using F&B cost control software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
