The Real Estate industry is seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join their finance team as a Junior Accountant in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands on experience in accounting and grow their career in finance. This is an entry level, full time job requiring bachelor’s degree in accounting. This job offers a salary between 3500 AED to 4000 AED which may be slightly negotiable during the interview. Responsibilities of Junior Accountant
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Requirements for the role of Junior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
