Responsibilities of Junior Accountant
- Financial Transactions: Record day to day financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data entry.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with accounting
- policies and regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Support and Collaboration:Collaborate with senior accountants and finance team members.
- Provide support during the month end and year end closing processes.
- Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements of Junior Accountant
The requirements for the job role of Junior Accountant are as following.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
