IT Specialist Pure Health Abu Dhabi

Pure Health is currently looking for a skilled IT Specialist to join their dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This job opportunity was announced by the company on December 20, 2023 and is now open for applications. The incumbent is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities and duties of the desktop support unit to ensure effective provision of technical support across the facility. The support covers, but is not limited to PC hardware/ software, networked printers, installation of applications and peripherals.

Duties of IT Specialist

• Responsible for executing specific projects related to his area.
• Support employees for any IT related requests.
• Onboard New Joiners, facilitate for all IT requirements.
• Develop and update IT policies, and SOPs.
• Support for Hardware/Software/Network related requests via the internal portal.
• Applications support (e.g: Kronos).
• Telephony Services for Store employees.
• Maintain Hardware Inventory.
• Evaluate external charges for the IT services.
• Printing & Activating ID cards.
• Lead special project initiatives.
• Provide technical recommendations and advice on hardware specifications, hardware and software acquisition, technical evaluation of bids and vendor proposals.
• Oversee the installation, set up, maintenance and effective use of IT desktop equipment and related peripherals.
• Manage hardware repair and maintenance contract.
• Support installation of new technologies and applications Manage vendor relationships and equipment supply.

Education, Skills and Certifications

Following are the requirements for the role of IT Specialist at Pure Health:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or related field.
• Recognized certifications such as Project Management Program certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco, etc.
• 2-4 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role.
• Experience in a large healthcare facility.

Knowledge & Skills

• Extensive knowledge of various operating systems, hardware, software, and programming languages.
• Excellent communication skills.
