IT Help Desk Support Engineer Adecco Abu Dhabi

Adecco is currently recruiting for IT Help Desk Support Engineer for their leading client based out of Abu Dhabi. The role holder will provide technical support and advice for clients regarding hardware and software for one or more product areas. To be responsible for diagnosis, reconfiguration, installation, quality management, SLAs. This is a mid senior level Full time role. 

Responsibilities of IT Help Desk Support Engineer

  • Microsoft Operating Systems: MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98 & 98 SE, Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Windows NT Server 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2008 Standard Server, Windows 2008 Database Server, Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition Server, Windows 2008 R2 Windows XP,Windows vista and 7 and windows 10, MS Office 365 (Dynmic).

Microsoft Products and Applications

  • Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0, Microsoft internet and security accelerations (ISA) Server 2000, 2004.
  • Installing and Configuring DNS sever,DHCP server. 
  • Installing and configuring IIS services,wsus (updating server). 
  • And printer server, File server, fax server, Application server
  • Active directory, backup, add user and computers and connect in the domain, fire walls. 
  • Design and establish the following Internet/Intranet Networks. 

Microsoft Windows Networks using

  • Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0, Microsoft Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98 and 98 SE.
  • Windows 2008 Server, Active Directory (RMS) Right management service. 
  • Microsoft windows Exchange Server 2008.
  • Network Interface Cards, Connecting / Running CAT5/5e/6 Cabling, NetBEUI, NetBIOS, TCP/IP, Dial-Up Networking Using SLIP & PPP, Remote Access Services for Dial-Up Users, Domains, Work Groups, Global Users Groups, Local User Groups, Users Accounts, Users Profiles, Assigning Users Rights, Users Permission.
  • Nating and VPN connection and wireless. 
  • Install, configure, and operate simple-routed LAN, routed WAN, and Switched LAN and LANE networks.
  • Avaya IP telephone, Cisco.
  • Install windows Patches and manage all application (Desktop Central).

Requirements of IT Help Desk Support Engineer 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years of strong experience. Belding Routers Firewall (Access-Lists).
