Alfahim is currently hiring candidate for the job role of a Information Technology (IT) Help Desk Administrator in Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-17000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of IT Help Desk Administrator
- Helpdesk Operations: Provide support to end-users to resolve technical problems.
- Further escalate complex issues and liaise with team members in various departments such as networking, business applications & infrastructure applications to provide solutions.
- Assist IT service supervisor in preparing and updating all installation and troubleshooting steps in the check-list document to ensure consistent, prompt service delivery to ends-users.
- IT Asset Management: Follow set of approved asset management guidelines and procedures while moving assets in and out from IT Store/Department. To ensure compliance to department policies and international IT standards.
- Ensure all new assets are tagged and updated in the asset management system as per the policy to ensure efficient management of IT assets.
- Administration: Take action on alerts produced by data center monitoring software and communicate with EPICO & other relevant vendors, support team, to ensure all amenities run smoothly.
- Attend regular meetings with line manager to provide feedback, progress updates and resolve issues as required.
- Innovation & Service Enhancement: Study, evaluate and submit recommendations to IT Analyst for updating the “IT Technology Set”.
- Ensure end users are equipped with the latest, innovative technology systems.
- Create awareness of new services introduced and conduct briefing sessions to enable end users to optimize new services.
- Customer Service: Make follow-up calls with regard to successful completion of work to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements for Role of IT Help Desk Administrator
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or equivalent.
- Certified in MCTS.
- Certified in CCNA, MCP, MCSA or MCSE is a plus.
- 4-5 years of minimum experience in IT helpdesk support role.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
Very good command of spoken & written English.
