Parsons Corporation is presently seeking qualified candidates for the role of an Irrigation Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible to perform a variety of engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. Responsibilities of An Irrigation Engineer

• Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.
• Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
• Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
• May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.
• May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of an Irrigation Engineer are as under:

• Bachelor’s of Civil / Agricultural Engineering (emphasis in Landscape Irrigation / Horticulture).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Design, Construction and Supervision of Landscape and irrigation projects.
• Experience in dealing with emergency works and ability to deal with the Public and coordinate with various infrastructure Authorities related to the Projects.
• Have full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure Networks in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi/Dubai.
• Knowledge and work experience pipelines, connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings.
