Charterhouse is partnering with a leading investment manager who is looking to hire an experienced Investment Performance Quant to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role sits centrally within their performance and reporting team and covers multiple asset classes that the firm deploys capital into.

About the Role

• Collaborating with the core operations team, this position will focus on the technical development and improvement of investment performance measurement capabilities within the fund.
• Encompasses a blend of BAU work, also require leadership responsibilities for new projects within the reporting & performance business unit.
• Strong quant development skills using a range of software and programming languages to support projects, enhancements and system implementations.

Requirements of Investment Performance Quant

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, finance, economics or any other relevant field.
• 10 years’ experience within Quant Development/Data and Analytics within a leading buy-side firm.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Solid understanding of multiple asset classes.
• Proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Python.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Arabic is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Proactive and skilled candidate.
• Results driven individual with ability to work under pressure.
• Must possess the drive to learn, prioritize and manage workload with minimum supervision.
