Responsibilities of An Internal Auditor

• Assessing and managing the overall financial audit and compliance checking process across the organisation.
• This role shall also link to the assessment of financial accounting accuracy, along with overseeing the internal controls and risk management points, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information and data management across the operational and accounting systems.
• Responsible for the development and roll out of audit programs, to monitor and report across the business units, whilst identifying any control weakness, non-compliance and any fraudulent activity.
• The reporting across these areas will then be a critical aspect, to support and implement audit solutions and business policy, within this control and risk management function.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of an Internal Auditor are as under:

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
•  Minimum of 3 years of experience, within either internal or external audit functions.

Skills Desired

• Strong reporting capabilities, both written and verbal, to ensure that audit findings can be posted along with the development of policy and procedure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills combined with an impartial mind-set and independent working capability.
