Responsibilities of Internal Audit Manager

The role holder is responsible for:

• Completion of Audit Plan.
• Maximize time utilization.
• Timely completion of audits.
• Develop and deliver an audit service focused on control environment improvements that protect and enhance the group’s financial position.
• Ensure audit findings are timely addressed.
• Conduct audits which are perceived to add value to the business.
• Ensure Internal Audit is contemporary and innovative to drive efficiency / quality of service.
• Maintain professional working relationship with business stakeholders.

Requirements of Internal Audit Manager

• Bachelor’s degree.
• A Graduate degree.
• Recognized Professional Accounting Qualification.
• Certified Internal Auditor, Financial Risk Manager / Certified Financial Analyst.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Treasury and Wealth Management Audit related experience with a Banking/financial services industry

• Treasury and Wealth Management Audit related experience with a Banking/financial services industry (5 years and above).

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Thorough understanding of Treasury Business Governance and operational controls framework, including good understanding of treasury related Products and services.
• Thorough understanding of Wealth Management business and products (viz., Discretionary Portfolio Management, Non Discretionary Portfolio Management, Brokerage, Asset Management, Trade execution).
• Good overall knowledge of Banking activities.
• Good Team player.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Thorough understanding of Treasury Business Governance and operational controls framework, including good understanding of treasury related Products and services.
• Thorough understanding of Wealth Management business and products (viz., Discretionary Portfolio Management, Non Discretionary Portfolio Management, Brokerage, Asset Management, Trade execution).
