Emirates Islamic Bank is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Senior Internal Audit Manager. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Group Chief Audit Officer I Senior Vice President I Portfolio Manager in providing internal audit services primarily covering Emirates NBD Group Risk Management, Wholesale Banking, Treasury and Wealth Management. They will undertake business process audit , project assignments and ad hoc review work under supervision as well as act as Job ln Charge for allocated assignments and when required deputies for his/her superiors in their absence.
Responsibilities of Senior Internal Audit Manager
- Completion of Audit Plan and conduct periodic follow up to ensure audit observations are implemented.
- Auditee Feedback on relevance of reported findings and provide audit report with agreed actions.
- Ensure Internal Audit is contemporary and innovative to drive efficiency and quality of service.
- Develop and deliver an audit service focused on control environment improvements that protect and enhance the group’s financial position.
- Raise observations that help business drive efficiency, improve revenue or cut costs, while ensuring observations are supported by facts, drafted per departmental standards and agreed with management.
- Conduct periodic follow up to ensure audit observations are implement.
- Management seek Internal Audit advice on risk/control matters.
- Auditee Feedback on relevance of reported findings.
Requirements of Senior Internal Audit Manager
- A Graduate degree.
- Recognized professional accounting qualification. (E.g. CAICPA, FRM, CFA, MBA Finance ) Strongly preferred.
- Certified Internal Auditor.
- Minimum 10 years of Banking experience with prior exposure to audit, compliance , finance and risk functions.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Good knowledge of one or more specialist areas (Risk Management, Wholesale Banking, Treasury, Wealth Management etc.).
