Job Description
Emirates Islamic Bank is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Internal Audit Manager. The role holder is responsible to oversee and manage the internal audit activities to ensure compliance, risk management, and control effectiveness within Emirates Islamic Bank.
Responsibilities of Internal Audit Manager
- Timely completion of Audit Plan, which are perceived to add value to the business.
- Ensure Internal Audit is contemporary and innovative to drive efficiency and quality of service.
- Develop and deliver an audit service focused on control environment improvements that protect and enhance the group’s financial position.
- Raise observations that help business drive efficiency, improve revenue or cut costs.
- Ensure observations are support by facts, drafted per departmental standards and agreed with management.
- Conduct periodic follow up to ensure audit observations are implement.
- Unplanned allowance effectively used.
- Management seek Internal Audit advice on risk/control matters
- Completion of Audit by Advised date.
- Auditee Feedback on relevance of reported findings.
Requirements of Internal Audit Manager
- Graduate degree.
- Certified Internal Auditor (Preferred).
- Financial Risk Manager / Certified Financial Analysis (Preferred).
- Banking/financial services industry experience (3 years and above).
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Recognized Professional Accounting Qualification (Preferred).
- Good overall knowledge of Wholesale &Treasury businesses.
- Analytical thinking.
- Team player , Relationship Management , Inter personal skills.
