Bloom Education is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Internal Audit Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and identifying areas for improvement in internal controls. The Internal Audit Manager will play a key role in providing independent and objective assessments of the company’s operations, financial systems, and internal controls.

Responsibilities of Internal Audit Manager

• Develop and implement a risk based internal audit plan to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Conduct comprehensive internal audits to evaluate the efficiency of business processes and the reliability of financial reporting.
• Provide guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high quality audit work.
• Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions to improve internal controls.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to enhance the internal audit function.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management and stakeholders.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behaviour within the organization.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control best practices.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Internal Audit Manager are as under:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a similar within the education sector is essential.
• Minimum Masters degree in auditing and financial management or relevant degree.
• Chartered Internal Auditor is advantageous.
