Intern Project Surveyor AECOM Dubai

As an Intern Project Surveyor at AECOM in Ubora Tower, Level 43. Al Abraj St. Business Bay, Dubai, UAE, candidate will be involved in all commercial activities during the pre and post contract phases of a construction project. This will cover several different types of packages from fit-outs to new builds, sitewide utilities and infrastructure works, giving you a wide range of knowledge & experience. You will complete a range of tasks within the team, including: Measurement, Volume 1 & 3 Production, Contracts & Procurement, Cost Forecasting, Variation Management, Market Testing, Cost Planning, Payment Administration & Liaising with clients. This is an Internship level full time job. And salary can range between 6000-10000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Intern Project Surveyor

• Conducting quantity measurements for cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities.
• Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation.
• Contributing to viability studies and cost estimates.
• Implementing and monitoring cost control procedures throughout project duration.
• Evaluating variations, additions, and omissions, and incorporating them into monthly cost reports.
• Assisting in preparing, pricing, and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors.
• Conducting market tests, analyzing tender returns, and inputting data into rates databases and estimates.

Requirements for Role of Intern Project Surveyor

• Currently enrolled in the 2nd or 3rd year of a Civil Engineering OR Quantity Surveying Degree program at an accredited University
• Maintaining a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
