Responsibilities of Insurance Specialist
- Be the overall Insurance subject matter expert and point of contact within the wealth segment.
- Train, coach and motivate Mashreq Gold RMs on an ongoing basis with an objective to meet Insurance FER targets on Insurance, savings product & Legacy planning solutions.
- Acquire, develop and strengthen Insurance acquisition through effective relationship.
- Ensure superior customer service thereby contributing to the overall customer experience of mashreq.
- Interact with external consultant on understanding global practices and implement as necessary.
- Use the available tool provided by bank to undertake customer interview and conduct need analysis for every prospect. Provide detailed product presentation and features based on customer requirements evaluated under profiling process.
- Provide an unbiased knowledgeable, objective financial guidance and customized strategies to consumer segments, which should be in line with the organization directives and suitability guidelines as provided from time to time
- Upsell, cross sell , provide regular market information and updates with trend analysis to new and existing customers on portfolio balancing.
- Take ownership of customer complaints and coordinate with respective teams for resolution.
- Provide constructive and constant feedback on improvement of Insurance product services, processes which may either reduce cycle time or enhance customer satisfaction.
- Meeting with the set service standards (indicators and surveys).
Requirements of Insurance Specialist
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics or in Accounting.
- 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Thorough knowledge of Insurance products in the UAE, services policies and processes of retail banking
- The job holder will have to possess – Problem Solving skills.Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Ability to work under pressure,
- The job holder should be a University Graduate with 5 – 8 years banking/ Insurance experience.
