Responsibilities of Insurance Agent/Advisor
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, and other related matters.
- Work with underwriters to review and assess customer needs.
- Provide quotes for potential policies.
- Negotiate with underwriters and carriers to find the best rates and coverage.
- Effectively explain coverage details to customers.
- Track customer records and document details.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of IIQAF’s products and services.
- Research and evaluate new products.
- Upsell additional services when appropriate.
Requirements of Insurance Agent/Advisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- At least two years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Previous experience with customer service a plus.
Skills and Knowledge desired
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
