Responsibilities of Insurance Agent/Advisor

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, and other related matters.
• Work with underwriters to review and assess customer needs.
• Provide quotes for potential policies.
• Negotiate with underwriters and carriers to find the best rates and coverage.
• Effectively explain coverage details to customers.
• Track customer records and document details.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of IIQAF’s products and services.
• Research and evaluate new products.
• Upsell additional services when appropriate.

Requirements of Insurance Agent/Advisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• At least two years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Previous experience with customer service a plus.

Skills and Knowledge desired

• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
