Instructor Mathematics UOWD

The School of Engineering, University of Wollongong Dubai (UOWD) is presently seeking qualified & motivated Instructor Mathematics to join in January 2024 (limited contract basis). The successful candidate will primarily support the teaching/tutoring of mathematics, particularly at the Freshman level, to students pursuing degrees in Business, Management, Computer Science, Media and Engineering. Subjects Required to be Taught

The role holder is expected to teach in following subjects:

• College Algebra to Freshman business and computer science students.
• Pre-Calculus Mathematics for engineering students.
• Statistics and Data Analysis to Freshman business and computer science students

Duties of Instructor Mathematics

• The ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience teaching/tutoring mathematics to a wide range of students.
• The candidate is expected to work in accordance with the course curriculum and teaching plans, as well as take attendance and be involved in marking.
• Experience in using innovative approaches to teaching mathematics is desirable.

Qualification Requirements for Role of Instructor Mathematics

• Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics (or related discipline) from a recognised international institute.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Engineering.
• 3 years of teaching experience at an internationally recognised institution.
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
