Job Purpose of An Instructional Designer

• Support the development, management and delivery of high quality learning technologies.
• E-Learning content development and digital learning materials to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of learning and development service delivery.

Job Duties of An Instructional Designer

• Support the development and rollout of digital learning courses and related resources in line with the group Learning and Development strategy.
• Manage the systems set-up, release and management of eLearning courses.
• Provide administrative support for all aspects of learning and development, including the drafting and maintenance of relevant documentation required to enable virtual/online learning.
• Provide support to users related to learning systems.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information / Educational Technology / Instructional Design or Instructional Systems Technology.

Experience

• At least 5 years working experience in the field of online course development, instructional design and administration of a learning management system.
• Experience in designing and developing high quality learning materials including web-based learning using authoring tools e.g. Articulate, Moodle, Adobe Captiva etc.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Instructional design methodologies and related systems and best practice.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Electronic survey tools e.g. Survey Monkey, Google Forms, and Survey Gizmo etc.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Script writing and storyboarding skills.
• Visual design skills and use of infographics e.g. Canva, Venn Gage, etc.
• Web design standards (CSS, HTML, XML), usability standards.
