Information Technology Security Specialist United Arab Bank

United Arab Bank is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Information Technology Security Specialist. The selected candidate is responsible to perform firsthand analysis of security incidents reported by the Security Operation Center [SOC] and through other channels and further monitor/investigate the root cause and to escalate as per established policies / procedures in place.

Responsibilities of Information Technology Security Specialist

• Responsible for implementation and security configuration for systems, network and applications and all other CIs (Configuration Items) as per industry best practice.
• The responsibilities will also include provisioning, monitoring of the endpoint protection suite and supporting access management Function.
• Provide technology oversight and lead efforts to meet appropriate regulations such as PCI, NESA and other applicable regulatory mandates from time to time.
• Performs activities to help measure and monitor in compliance with Information Security policies, regulatory compliance and procedures.
• Assists in the analysis and definition of security requirements.
• Works with internal teams in remediation of security observations and remediation follow-up.
• Track, coordinate, and provide regular status on remediation of security incidents and resolution of self-identified findings.
• Monitor and report on compliance with security policies, as well as the enforcement of policies within the IT department.
• Assist application owners in understanding and responding to security audit observations reported by internal / external auditors.
• Facilitate regular user access reviews for the bank’s systems and applications (Privileged Access Management)
• Manage, provision, monitor endpoint protection suite and ensure 100 percent compliant.
• Manage production issues and incidents and participate in problem and change management forums.
• Manage security projects and provide expert guidance on security matters for other IT projects.
• Ensure audit trails, system logs and other monitoring data sources are reviewed periodically as a first line of defense and are in compliance with policies and audit requirements.
• Manage the periodic maintenance of security systems and applications to ensure new threats are identified and managed and the security of the organization’s assets are maintained.

Eligibility Requirement

The requirements of Information Technology Security Specialist are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent to in the field of banking or IT
• 3 to 7 years’ experience in Endpoint Protection Suite.
• 3 to 7 years’ experience in Access management operations preferably in Banking domain.
• Foundational experience with enterprise and directory integration services (AD, LDAP, ADFS, PKI)
