NAFFCO seeking a talented Industrial Designer with expertise in SolidWorks to join their modular construction team. Candidate will design and develop modular components and systems, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and innovation in modular construction solutions. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 5000-7000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Industrial Designer

• Design & Development:
• Create 3D models and technical drawings for modular components and assemblies using SolidWorks, ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
• Prototyping & Testing:
• Support prototyping and testing of modular components, refining designs based on performance feedback.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Propose and implement design improvements that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and ease of assembly in modular systems.
• Documentation:
• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly.

Requirements for Role of Industrial Designer

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks, preferably in modular or prefabricated construction.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, with a solid understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and materials selection.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills.
