Al Budoor KG Charter School is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Inclusion Assistant. The selected candidate is responsible to provide early intervention to promote the educational and social development of identified student/s under the direction and guidance of the Head of Inclusion and Class Teacher.

Responsibilities of Inclusion Assistant

• Follow schemes of work and IEP with the integration of various available resources and modes of instruction suitable to the student’s needs.
• Support high expectations and implement assigned tasks that challenge the student and ensure high levels of interest.
• Promote the social and emotional development of the student.
• Build productive relationships with parents on education issues and learning and assessment strategies.
• Ensure that the National UAE culture, heritage and values are an integral part of the interaction with students.
• Liaise with the teacher and/or appropriate experts in the area for required support and advice.
• Assist in the implementation of and supervise extra curricular activities, and student excursions as requested.
• Collaborate with other teachers and support staff.
• Attend and participate in school based, external meetings and professional development.
• Create resources and learning tasks and provide feedback for the teacher on the outcomes of the learning activity.
• Support the SLT in creating and maintaining displays in common areas.
• Support the student during PE, Islamic and Arabic classes.
• Supervise breaks and other classes in the absence of peers as directed by SLT.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the SLT.

Job Requirements of Inclusion Assistant

• Degree in Education or/ Diploma in Special Education or/ to have a high school diploma with a Special Education training program.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Inclusion/SEN Assistant.
• With at least a minimum of 6 IELTS band score.
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
