ILS Engineer SAAB Abu Dhabi

SAAB is looking for an Engineer with interest in developing skills and experience within Integrated Logistic Support (ILS Engineer SAAB Abu Dhabi) in 2901 Addax office Tower, City of Lights, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Candidate will participate during the entire product lifecycle, from development to phase out. Job holder will be working in different projects and together with colleagues, so personal characteristics are of high importance. This is an Intermediate level and full time role with salary ranges from 10000 AED to 20000 AED per month.

Responsibilities of ILS Engineer

• Life Cycle Cost analysis.
• Reliability, Availability and Maintainability analysis.
• Logistics support analysis.
• Technical specification and user documentation of products.
• Planning of ILS work through the life cycle.
• Operator training and training materiel.
• Support system specification, analysis, planning and implementation.

Requirements for Role of ILS Engineer

• Bachelor Degree in Logistics Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent on the job experience.
• Experience or knowledge in LSA and R&M analysis tools.
• 2+ years experience or knowledge in preparing ILS analyses, inputs and recommendations to obsolescence reports.
• COTS based logistics experience.
• Experience or understanding of ILS processes or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in Defense industry and its logistics practices and standards.
• Driver’s license.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Preferably understanding of the development and the relations between the various ILS elements.
• Maintenance management systems and tools.
• Failure reporting, analysis and corrective actions systems and tools.
• Configuration management and asset management systems and tools.
• Analysis, problem solving and trouble shooting.
• Interpretation and breakdown of requirements and tasks.
• Very good cooperation ability.
• Specifications, design diagrams and descriptions as well as reports.
• Identification if improvement possibilities.
• Good ability to carry through your own and others’ ideas.
• You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written.
• For you to achieve good results, you should act commercially and professionally when in contact. with both customers and suppliers.
