Job Description

EDGE Group is actively hiring highly qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of an IGNITE (Satellite Communication) Associate Engineer. The selected candidate will be assigned to work KATIM Company (subsidiary of EDGE Group). EDGE Group has just announced this vacancy and is openly accepting applications from all interested candidates.

Responsibilities of IGNITE Associate Engineer

  • Contribute to successful project completion and management by providing expert technical services in accordance with the project time and quality.
  • Review and check specifications, reports and drawings to ensure quality of design and output.
  • Responsible for design activities of complete MEP systems as assigned. Responsible for technical analysis and resolution of engineering problems.
  • Responsible for technical reviews of internal and external projects.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for in role of an IGNITE Associate Engineer are as under:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • A minimum 1-year experience in Electrical design or SW development.

Skills Desired

  • Basic Knowledge on Protection coordination and setting of LV & MV Networks.
  • Good knowledge in one of the following areas.
  • Software development such as Python, C/C++ or other languages. To be ready to questions about: syntax, data types, tools.
  • Testing of telecommunication equipment laboratory equipment, test methodologies, measurement units.
  • To be ready to answer relative questions during the interview.
  • Hardware design PCB, schematics.
