Responsibilities of IFS Developer

• Build reporting capabilities using visualisation tools and represent results in easy-to-understand interactive dashboards.
• Development and modification of reports/queries/lobbies, IFS Quick Report, IFS Business Reporting, IFS Operational Reports using IFS Report Designer and external tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Configuration of the IFS application through IFS Tasks, Approval Routines, Custom Events, Document Management, Custom Menus, Custom Objects.
• Design and development of Entities and Aurena pages.
• Apply creative and proactive solutions based on requirements.
• Configure/develop web services which can expose business APIs (REST APIs) for exchange of information between systems.
• Write and maintain ETL (Extract Transform and Load) processes for extracting and preparing data.
• Review requirements, functional specification, and prepare technical design document.
• Prepare test cases for testing the ERP solution; testing may include unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, etc.
• Provide technical support to the teams.
• Participate in design workshops.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of IFS Developer (CRIM) are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Software Engineering.
• Below Certifications are must to have.
• IFS Practitioner Developer IFS Aurena.
• IFS Practitioner Technical Consultant Cloud.
• 3-4 years relevant experience in a large organization.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Report writing skills using Crystal Reports, IFS Report Designer or MS Reporting Services.
• Database management system background Oracle DB using TOAD or SQL Development.
• Design and development of CRIMs in IFS.
• Advanced report writing skills (MS Report Services, IFS Business Reporting, IFS Report Designer, SAP Crystal Reports or Power BI).
• Strong technical understanding of IFS applications 10 and Cloud versions.
• Mange IFS implementation lifecycle including requirements gathering, process analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Experience in File based interface, SOAP concepts and REST API development including transformers configurations.
• Experience in IFS Aurena pages development and able to debug the issues encountered during the business process.
• Experience in IFS Custom objects framework configurations and deployment.
• Knowledge in various software and database programming languages
• Experience in a project delivery role, ERP implementation, upgrade, and support experience.
• Strong ERP background with resolution of technical issues during planning and execution phases.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with project objectives
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products, independently using documentation and online resources.
• Very good knowledge in project management, technical terms and report writing skills.
