About the Role

Yasmina British Academy is seeking an outstanding ICT Primary Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027. This position is based in Abu Dhabi at one of the top-rated schools in the UAE, which has been rated Outstanding in all six ADEK performance standards. Furthermore, the successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT lessons to primary students, inspiring young learners to develop essential digital skills and technological literacy within a diverse and progressive learning community.

Key Responsibilities

As ICT Primary Teacher, you will create a climate conducive to outstanding learning and teaching, identifying clear objectives and setting tasks that challenge students. Additionally, you will set clear targets building on prior attainment, identify SEN and gifted students, and deliver differentiated learning matched to individual needs. Moreover, your duties include making effective use of assessment, marking and monitoring students’ work, and using performance data to inform planning. Furthermore, you will prepare informative reports for parents, contribute to the school’s corporate life through meetings and events, and take part in marketing activities such as open evenings and parent consultations. In addition, you will comply with health and safety regulations and engage in annual training linked to child protection and safeguarding.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field along with a teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience teaching the specialist subject is required. Furthermore, previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is desirable. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching, commitment to educating the whole child, and recent involvement in extra-curricular activities. A clean enhanced DBS check or police check is also required.
