Responsibilities of Hypermarket Cashier
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
- Ensure the accuracy of prices and discounts.
- Collaborate with the retail team for smooth operations.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
- Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
Requirements of Hypermarket Cashier
The requirements for the job role of Hypermarket Cashier are as under:
- High School Diploma.
- Previous experience of 1 – 2 Years as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
