Responsibilities of Hypermarket Cashier

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
• Ensure the accuracy of prices and discounts.
• Collaborate with the retail team for smooth operations.
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
• Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges

Requirements of Hypermarket Cashier

The requirements for the job role of Hypermarket Cashier are as under:

• High School Diploma.
• Previous experience of 1 – 2 Years as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
