Hydraulic Fitter Dubai Ports (DP) World

DP Wolrd is currently looking for a Hydraulic Fitter who be will responsible to comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls and to behave in a manner, which ensures that their actions or omissions, do not adversely affect the environment, health, safety and wellbeing of themselves, colleagues, contractors or members of the public This is a mid level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3000 AED to 7000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Hydraulic Fitter

• Meeting all responsibilities as outlined in the DDW OHSMS.
• Participating in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the Company.
• Complying with all Safety directives, and work instructions.
• Immediately reporting any incident or potential hazard to their Supervisor or Safety Dept.
• STOP the task if you feel yourself or others may be harmed.

Eligibility Requirements for Hydraulic Fitter

• Vocational or Diploma in Mechanical engineering or Hydraulics with experience marine hydraulics.
• 2-3 years of experience or 2 years in Marine Work Shop or Ship Yard.
• Experience in the repairing of various hydraulic components such as hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic valves/manifold blocks.

Skills Desired

• Ship Yard training or work.
• Makers training or skill in Hydraulic components and knowledge of  Hydraulic Flushing.
