Johnson Controls presently has a job opening for suitably dedicated and skilled candidate for position of a HVAC Service Technician (Electrical) in Abu Dhabi. Candidate will be reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor- HVAC and will be based in Abu Dhabi. As part the HVAC Aftermarket team candidate will install, service, repair and carry out preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment such as York chiller VSD rectification and turbel shooting, Electronics board fault identification and new board replacement.

Responsibilities of HVAC Service Technician Electrical

• Will use strong HVAC electrical knowledge to implement site surveys.
• Carry out full dilapidation reports, inspecting all Electronic and electrical components
• Recommending system improvements, upgrades and replacements as vital.
• Understand the customer requirements & concerns by meeting them on regular basis & provide them required technical services & repair for HVAC systems.
• Driven and consistent in approach to work, handling multiple priorities simultaneously because of excellent planning and time management skills.

Requirements for Role of HVAC Service Technician Electrical

• Diploma in Electrical Or Electronics equivalent.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in servicing, maintenance & reading electrical scheme, control wiring, logics, PCBA, involve LV, VFD commissioning, trouble shooting.
• Shown technical knowledge and experience of working on parts replacement & problem analysis skills, making RCA reports, Knowledge of Harmonics, standards, Active harmonic filters.
• Experience in handling reports & communications in a concise way.
• Experienced in service/maintenance of about Basic HVAC, chiller knowledge added in Advantage.
• Valid Driving License.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Ability to read and understand electrical single line diagrams of HVAC systems, all kind of motor starters , AC/DC Motor testing.
• Proficient language skills in English.
• Knowledge in troubleshooting of electrical systems, variable speed drive.
