Responsibilities of Human Resources Manager
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational goals and drive employee engagement, retention, and performance.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, ensuring a positive candidate experience and alignment with company culture and values.
- Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and create recruitment plans to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling, ensuring adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, incentives, and employee benefits, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation practices.
- Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HR management.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and innovation.
Requirements of Human Resources Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM CP, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
- Proven experience in HR management roles, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws/regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply policies in a consistent and fair manner.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust.
