Job Purpose of A HSE Officer
Contribute to implementing and maintaining an effective Health, Safety and Environment System on site to ensure all activities as far as reasonably practicable are conducted in a safe manner under the guidelines set and controlled by the Company HSE policy and associated documentation.
Duties of A HSE Officer
- Promote safety conduct of all work on site and conduct Supervisors meetings.
- Conduct HSE inductions and TBTs and keep records of attendees and promote a positive safety culture.
- Immediately report any accident, incident, or near miss in accordance with Company procedure.
- Conduct investigations to identify the root, basic, and immediate causes.
- Ensure implementation of corrective actions for all HSE-related events.
- Assist in the care of injured parties and Ensure Subcontractors, consultant and client team adhere to the safety requirements.
- Ensure the site welfare facilities are sufficient and in acceptable order.
- Arrange third party HSE inspections and training on site as required.
- To support and participate in ensuring compliance with the relevant law, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Client’s requirements (where applicable) as advised by the Group IMS and Report To.
- Carries out any additional tasks assigned by Business Unit head.

Qualification
- Secondary education (or equivalent).
Experience
- 3-5 years of previous proven experience.
Skills Desired
- Advanced MS Office skills & familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
- Time management and organization skills.
