Al Futtaim Group is currently seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of a HSE Officer. This job has recently been posted by company’s career page and is now open for all aspring candidates.

Duties of HSE Officer

• To support project HSE Manager and deputise in time of absence.
• To coordinate activities within the HSE Management System.
• To monitor the implementation of Project HSE Policies and Procedures.
• Provide guidance on HSE related issues to the Project Management.
• Complete workplace safety inspections and issue reports and findings.
• Maintain and update incident and action items registers.
• To assist in the safe planning of Project operations.
• Carry out risk assessment programs and reviews.
• Carry out toolbox talks and HSE related training as identified by project HSE Manager.
• Generate HSE reports as requested by project HSE Manager.
• Provide HSE supervision for risk related activities.

Requirements for Role of HSE Officer

The eligibility requirements for role of a HSE Officer are as under:

• NEBOSH General or International Certificate or Level 3 of OSH qualification.
• 5 years relevant experience in handling projects or engineering industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Fluent in English.
• HSE knowledge and experience within a dynamic construction project environment.
• Ability to execute the primary functions of a HSE Management System.
• Prefer MEP background.
