IFZA is seeking a qualified and experienced HR Operations Executive who will be responsible for handling end-to-end HR operations for non-IFZA employees, including all aspects of the employee lifecycle, except recruitment. This includes handling operations for Isabell Princess of the Sea yacht, Novecento Restaurant and Maison D’Vie employees. Activities include processing payroll, preparing employment contracts, leave administration, medical and life insurance enrollments, onboarding, offboarding and issuing visas (TBC).

Responsibilities of HR Operations Executive

  • Preparing employees’ offer letters and employment contracts, accounting for variations in benefits and working arrangements between employees of the different entities.
  • Coordinating with the Academy and I.T. to ensure smooth onboarding of new joiners of each entity, including collection of required documents and issuing assets.
  • Planning and scheduling medical and biometrics appointments for visa processing.
  • Liaising with the Visa Processing Specialist team for the issuance of work permits and visas (TBC).
  • Preparing separate salary registers and payslips for employees of each entity.
  • Preparing documentation for employees upon request (e.g. salary certificates, NOC letters etc.).
  • Responsible for medical and life insurance enrollments and deletion.
  • Monitoring employees’ annual leave and sick leave applications in the HRIS, ensuring employees adhere to internal policies.
  • Making accommodation and transportation arrangements for eligible employees.
  • Ensuring employees’ contracts, attendance and overtime are compliant with the UAE labour law.
  • Informing the HR Admin Manager of and disciplinary issues, for escalation.
  • Maintaining employees’ folders and government relations documentation.
  • Offboarding leavers, including conducting exit interviews, preparing final settlements, and collecting assets.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of HR Operations Executive are as under:

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources is desirable.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
  • UAE experience is mandatory.
  • Experience working in hospitality is desirable.

Skills Desired

  • Full English proficiency is required, Arabic is desirable.
  • Familiar with the UAE labour.
  • Knowledge of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) is a plus.
