Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort (Opening this month) is presently accepting applications from candidates for role of Housing Attendant. The successful candidate will be responsible to perform all houskeeping tasks as per Accor standards and SOPs. This post was announced by the hotel on December 17, 2023.

Responsibilities of Housing Attendant

  • To clean & set up the entire assigned public areas of ambassador accommodation, as per accommodation standards and procedures.
  • To keep all equipment clean, tidy and well maintained as per the Accommodation Operations Manual, including proper and secure storage.
  • To have a complete understanding of the different cleaning products and their use.
  • To carry out special tasks according to the assignments.
  • To report any damaged or missing items to the General Cleaner Supervisor for action and follow up.
  • To keep all keys signed out in a secure manner and return them at the end of the shift to the ambassador in charge.
  • To hand over to the General Cleaner Supervisor all Lost and Found Items within the accommodation compound.
  • To ensure that all ambassadors enjoy their stay within the accommodation compound being offered the cleanliness and hygienic service always.
  • To attend a daily line up briefing with the Ambassador Accommodation team.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the General Cleaner Supervisor.

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements of Housing Attendant are as under:

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent or certification/diploma in hospitality.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field.
