Responsibilities of Housekeeping Supervisor

• Oversee and manage all responsibilities and assignments of housekeeping attendants, ensuring their proper execution and supervision.
• Maintain and uphold the cleanliness standards in various areas including guest rooms and villas, balconies, corridors, linen rooms, and housekeeping pantries according to established procedures and set quality benchmarks.
• Guarantee the continuous replenishment of guest supplies while ensuring swift and courteous fulfillment of guests’ requests.
• Utilize the Property Management System (PMS) to promptly report any instances of damage or malfunction observed in hotel rooms.
• Conduct regular briefings with the floor-level staff to ensure effective communication and task alignment.
• Implement routine room checklists to ensure consistent quality standards are met and maintained.
• Notify the Assistant Housekeeping Manager of any unusual behavior or activities observed on the floors.
• Accurately record and update room statuses in the designated section as per established protocols.
• Adhere strictly to the hotel’s health, safety, and hygiene policies and practices.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions to stay updated with hotel protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the distinctions among guest levels, particularly VIP statuses, and various room categories within the establishment.

Requirements Of Housekeeping Supervisor

The requirements of Housekeeping Supervisor are as under:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1-2 year of hands-on experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader or Supervisor within recognized five-star hotel brands.
• Substantial experience in leading training sessions, reflecting competence and expertise in the facilitation and delivery of housekeeping training modules.

Skills Desired
