Responsibilities of Housekeeping Specialist
- Ensuring the highest standards of household cleanliness and hygiene.
- Performing a variety of cleaning activities including, but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, polishing, arranging the rooms, cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, making the beds, and changing the sheets.
- Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected as per 5-star hotel standards.
- Maintaining and protecting equipment to make sure there are no inadequacies.
- Responsible for laundry and wardrobe management activities including, but not limited to, washing, drying, ironing, and shoe polishing.
- Extending a warm welcome to the residence owner and his guests.
- Maintaining inventory levels of all cleaning equipment and consumables, and replacing them when appropriate.
- Adhering to strict health and safety standard.
- Carrying out other duties as requested by the residence owner and his guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
Requirements for Role of Housekeeping Specialist
The requirements for role of Housekeeping Specialist are as under:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Housekeeping in a 5-star luxury hotel or similar experience working with VIP guests.
Skills Desired
- Full English proficiency.
- Knowledge of 5-star hotel housekeeping standards and laundry handling procedures.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling procedures, and familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and efficiency without compromising quality of work.
- Excellent organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a team under pressure.
