Traders Hotel Shangri  Qaryat al Beri Abu Dhabi  have a great opportunity for an Intern to join Housekeeping Department. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the area, learning at different levels of responsibility, and working with a team.

Responsibilities of Housekeeping Intern

• Maintain and clean guests’ rooms including replenishing room supplies.
• Adhere to Shangri-La room standards policy.
• Inform valets to collect guests’ clothes for laundry, dry cleaning or pressing.
• Maintain the public and general areas.
• Report any maintenance-related issue to the Housekeeping Department.
• Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
• Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
• Be an ambassador for the brand.
• Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/management to find solutions.

Requirements of Housekeeping Intern

• Diploma/certification in housekeeping.
• Previous customer service and/or housekeeping experience in luxury hospitality/customer service is a plus.
