Hotels/Restaurant industry is looking for an organized, experienced housekeeping attendant, who plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities in Dubai. Responsibilities of Housekeeping Attendant

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to established standards and procedures.
  • Make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, dust furniture, and vacuum carpets to ensure rooms are tidy and sanitized for guests.
  • Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments in guest rooms and public spaces as needed.
  • Inspect rooms for damages, maintenance issues, and lost items, and report any discrepancies to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and ensure efficient cleaning operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and courteously.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items, including logging and storing items securely until claimed by guests or returned to the appropriate department.
  • Participate in training programs and meetings to enhance skills, knowledge, and teamwork within the housekeeping department.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements of Housekeeping Attendant

  • Must be physically fit and have attractive personality.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.

Skills and knowledge Desired

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and order in various areas of the hotel.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the hotel.
